Sarah Sprenger is a freelance singer, soprano and lives near  Frankfurt.

She started singing at a young age, also played piano and bassoon, and turned her passion into profession after completing her studies. The focus of her repertoire is on romantic opera.

Her singing experience includes recitals (Strauss, Mahler, Wagner, etc.), concerts (secular, sacred) and independent opera and operetta productions (Die Walküre, Die Fledermaus, etc.) including concert tours to Italy and Finland (Brahms Liebesliedwalzer, Orfeo/Gluck).

In her performances, she touches her audience with a powerfully flowing, beautiful voice and an engaging personality, which is also reflected in her concert moderations, which are both entertaining and profound.

Sarah Sprenger worked in international masterclasses with, among others, KS Christa Ludwig, Siegfried Jerusalem, Anna Tomowa-Sintow, and Karan Armstrong.

Formative coaches have been:  Klaus Sallmann (Staatsoper Berlin), Douglas Brown (Deutsche Oper Berlin), Uwe F. Griem (Berlin), Yanyu Guò (Mannheim), Gary Kudo (Nationaltheater Mannheim), Sylvia Koncza (HMDK Stuttgart), Prof. Leandra Overmann (HfM Würzburg). 

Supportive acting training and character development: Anja Kühnhold (Theater Kiel) Chuck Hudson (NYC), Ini Gerath (Wiesbaden), Hans Dieter Trayer (München) and Theaterwerkstatt Heidelberg.

Collaboration with conductors such as Levi Hammer (Walküre, Berlin), Hans-Josef Overmann (Fledermaus ua, Heidelberg), Prof. Franz Wassermann (Verdi Requiem, Heidelberg).

   Valuable coaches are Petra Lang and Adrian Baianu (Darmstadt),

Holger Reinhardt (Staatstheater Wiesbaden) and Björn Huestege (Nürnberg).
